Our goal was to create a packaging solution that would make a great keepsake and that wouldn’t look out of place amongst other mainstream Star Wars memorabilia.
With this in mind, we designed a core range of four unisex perfume packaging solutions for Star Wars called Droid, Galaxy, Revenge and Rey. Each fragrance was created to link to a character from the iconic film: Rey, Kylo Ren, BB-8 and Stormtrooper, so the packaging needed to be heavily influenced with each characters art.
The range was sold in Boots, The Perfume Shop and World Duty Free as well as QVC and Amazon and nominated by Disney for innovative product of the year!
Each bottle is printed with the iconic Star Wars logo and sprayed in a high gloss metallic colour – gold, silver, white and rose gold.
The high-quality paper-over-board packaging boxes incorporate a book style opening with a magnet lock. The packaging design uses rich silver foils on black to make the Star Wars branding really stand out. The front of each box incorporates a spot uv varnish print of a character illustration – subtle enough not to deflect from the Star Wars branding, but really eye-catching with light reflections. Each fragrance box contains a four-page booklet highlighting the fragrance and the character it represents.
An androgynous, energetic, citric and floral fragrance combined with spicy and musky elements representing all that is precocious and good spirited.
A zesty, energetic, woody fragrance with warm and floral spicy notes representing all that is fearless and heroic.
A dominant spicy aromatic fragrance with woody and capricious dark notes representing the very essence of the Dark Side of the force.
A powerful sweet, fruity and floral fragrance representing all that is strong, collected and sophisticated.”
